Qual Comm is simply a system to transfer information between the
carrier and the Owner Operator. This method is done via text
messaging by using a mounted satellite system on the roof of the cargo unit and a keyboard in the cab / by driver seat.

This works identically to a text from you to another on your cell
phone except that the QC will only work between you and ONE SPECIFIC carrier.

It's essentially an email.
